Crusoe’s Retreat Coral Coast
Crusoe’s Retreat provides a unique holiday experience in a traditional Fijian resort. With its own palm fringed beach, lush tropical gardens and just 29 Bures this is an intimate resort giving you a true Fijian experience.
Crusoe’s Retreat is situated on the beautiful Coral Coast of Fiji’s main Island Viti Levu, a two hour car drive from Nadi Airport.
We have 18 Seaview Bures set into the hillside, each offering magnificent views from the doorstep, or the 11 Seaside Bures which are close to the enchanting turquoise waters of the lagoon and Pacific Ocean.
Resort facilities include a bar, restaurant, dive centre, games room, tour desk and boutique. Although Crusoe’s Retreat is a quiet and relaxing resort you can immerse yourself in a wide range of complementary activities and evening entertainment if you wish. These include kayaking, snorkeling, mangrove tours, glass bottom boat trips and a variety of cultural experiences.
Our tour desk are able to provide a good selection of tours including rafting adventures, a river jet boat tour or shopping trips to the Capital Suva or local town. In the evenings you can relax to the sound of our Fijian serenaders, watch a traditional Meke dance performance or take part in a Kava Ceremony.
The Namaqumaqua Village boarders the resort offering guests the unique opportunity of experiencing the genuine culture and day to day living of Fiji’s beautiful people. Many of our staff live in the village and guests are welcome to see the village escorted or on their own.
Our on site PADI Dive team regularly hold introduction to scuba classes in the pool providing an excellent opportunity to give Scuba diving a try in a comfortable environment. More experienced divers can enjoy the full wonders of the Coral Coast going to up to 20 different dive sites that are within minutes of the resort.

Getting There
Crusoe’s Retreat is located at the end of Man Friday Road, 4 kilometers off the Queen’s Highway, on the Coral Coast in Viti Levu the main island of Fiji.
Travelling from Nadi we are a two hour drive by car. Head for Sigatoka and then carry on along the Queens Highway past several other resorts, through the settlement of Korolevu until you reach The Warwick Hotel.
Continue for another 15 minutes and the turning for Crusoe’s Retreat is clearly marked on the right hand side of the road.
The gravel road to Crusoe’s Retreat is about 4 kilometers long – enjoy the scenery as you leave the hustle and bustle behind you and be certain to stop and check the panoramic view from the crest of the hill before you drive all the way down to our reception area to park. We are happy to arrange airport transfers please contact the resort direct to arrange this.
Parking
We have plenty of car parking outside our main reception area. Hire cars can be arranged daily or for longer periods of time.

At Crusoe’s Retreat you can keep as busy as you like with plenty of to do or you can simply kick back & relax & enjoy true Fijian Hospitality & our delicous cocktails in this friendly resort.
Our activities team can keep you as busy as you want to be with resort activities including kayaks, snorkeling from the beach and further into the lagoon from the boat, glass bottom boat trips, mangrove boat trips, beach volleyball, grass tennis, coconut bowls, Fijian basket weaving, Fijian cookery and guided walks through the local village where many of our lovely staff live. All activities (excluding scuba) are complimentary making this an excellent value resort.
Dive Crusoe’s is based on site at Crusoe’s Retreat & have over 20 fantastic dive sites within minutes from the resort.
Our highly qualified local dive crew is led by Don Woods, a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and one of the most experienced divers in Fiji. Our aim is to provide you with a friendly world class diving experience, in a beautiful and safe location.
We have entertainment every evening from our band, Crusoe’s Serenaders. Evry night there’s something to do from Polynesian Dance Shows to Frog & Crab Races, there’s something for everyone here at Crusoe’s Retreat.
